Where Healing and Growth Begin

Meaningful Change Through Understanding

Lasting emotional change begins with developing a deeper understanding of yourself and the experiences that have shaped your life. Therapy offers a thoughtful and confidential space to explore the patterns that influence your relationships, emotions, and sense of self. In our work together, the goal is not simply to relieve symptoms, but to foster greater self-awareness, emotional freedom, and a more authentic way of living.

Why People Seek Therapy

People seek therapy for many different reasons. Some are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, or significant life transitions. Others find themselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed, burdened by self-doubt, emotionally disconnected, or repeating patterns that no longer serve them despite their best efforts to change. Many people come to therapy not because something is "wrong," but because they recognize that the way they have been living, relating, or coping no longer feels sustainable. Whether you are seeking relief from emotional distress, a deeper understanding of yourself, or more fulfilling relationships, therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and begin relating to yourself and others in new ways.

Psychoanalytic Approach

While therapy can provide relief from immediate distress, psychoanalytic psychotherapy seeks to understand the deeper emotional patterns that give rise to recurring difficulties in our lives. By exploring the influence of past experiences, relationships, and unconscious ways of relating, therapy becomes more than symptom management—it becomes an opportunity to develop a richer understanding of yourself and create lasting emotional change. In our work together, we will thoughtfully explore these patterns in a collaborative and confidential space, creating the opportunity for deeper insight, lasting healing, and a more fulfilling way of living.

Areas of Focus

These represent some of the primary areas of my practice, though they are by no means exhaustive. Therapy is always tailored to your individual needs and concerns.

Begin a Conversation

Beginning therapy often starts with a conversation. An initial consultation provides an opportunity to discuss what brings you to therapy, ask questions, and consider whether working together feels like the right fit. I welcome the opportunity to learn more about what you are looking for and to discuss how I may be able to help.
